Hi! I'm **tozka** (xe/xem/xyr), a queer pagan 30-something ex-librarian from California. ([[misc:me|More about me here!]])

Welcome to my website, where I keeping thing that interest me: fanfic recommendations, books I read, movies I watch, guides I write, clippings from articles, and so. Think of it as a mix of a personal website, a commonplace notebook and a guidebook.

Despite the pink-heavy colors and childhood-nostalgia theming, this website is NOT FOR CHILDREN. There's nothing really mature here, but a) the fanfic recs page links to explicit material and b) tbh I'm writing with an adult audience in mind. Anyway.

This is a static companion to my **[[https://tozka.dreamwidth.org/|online journal]]**, which is hosted on Dreamwidth and updated more like a traditional blog. 

If you want to subscribe for site updates HERE, I recommend using my [[https://status.cafe/users/tozka|status.cafe Atom/RSS feed]]. I think technically there's an RSS feed directly for this DocuWiki site but I can't control it and the outputs are hideous. The status.cafe one at least explains what the update/changes ARE.

===== Site/Domain Info =====
This site was previously at Doctorsidrat.com (one of my other pseuds), and was moved to Pixietails.club in 2019 (I think). Then the domain expired and I didn't renew it until just now, February 2025. Welcome back!

This particular "layout" was installed in late February 2025, when I switched from a Wordpress blog to [[https://www.dokuwiki.org/dokuwiki|Docuwiki]], which fits more of my needs. I really wanted a static website, but I also wanted something easy to update and add new pages to. A wiki seemed like a good compromise as I can make as many pages as I want without having to re-code individual HTML pages.

In March 2025, I figured out how to actually style the layout with colors and stuff! The section header images are vintage Lovely Lady Locks images stolen from Tumblr blogs and edited in Canva by me. For more on what's what around here, check out the [[misc:credits|credits page]].

IMPORTANT: There are NO ads, NO tracking and NO analytics on this site. Browse in peace! (Stop by the [[https://pixietails.atabook.org/|guestbook]] if you want to say hello!)
