Links for Pagans
In progress!
Directories
Witchvox (archived) – online for 22 years before shutting down at the end of 2019, featuring thousands of articles written by pagans and witches, plus store listings, events, community groups, etc. This was one of the first pagan websites I ever found as a teen and some of the articles written on it inspired my own journey.
Mandragora Magika – online directory for local covens, stores, festivals and events, plus online things like blogs, Youtube channels etc.
Traditions and Specific Groups
Is this more useful organized by type? On the one hand, it'd be easier to skim. On the other hand, so many modern groups mesh a bunch of different traditions together and untangling that would be super annoying…for now, it's in alphabetical order.
Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship (ADF) – “a Pagan church based on ancient Indo-European traditions expressed through public worship, study, and fellowship.” Also: Inclusion statement
Circle Sanctuary – “Circle Sanctuary is a 501©(3) non-profit Nature Spirituality church and 200-acre nature preserve dedicated to networking, community celebrations, spiritual healing and education.” Also: Inclusiveness Policy
Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) – “an organization dedicated to networking Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists (UUs), educating people about Paganism, promoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan-identified UU religious professionals.” Also: Organizational Resolutions & Statements
Grigorian Witchcraft – “Our traditions foundation is an eclectic mix of ancient practices, British traditional witchcraft, Hellenistic traditions from the ancient worlds, Ritual and Esoteric magicks. Our practices include traditional witchcraft, modern witchcraft, movement, art, metaphysics, and science. We strive to provide services to help each person undertake and follow their unique spiritual path, along with providing the means to that end.”
Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids – “a mystery school, a community around the world, who love nature and want to follow a magical, spiritual way that respects and protects the natural world in all its beauty. Members work with spiritual teachings that combine the inspiration of the ancient druids and the old stories with contemporary scholarship and insights into the relationship between human beings and the world of plants and animals, stars and stones.”
Reformed Druids of Gaia (RDG) – “The mission of the Reformed Druids of Gaia is to invoke a web of knowledge, mythos and experience that provides a framework for reconnecting with the Earth Mother, and re-gathering her progeny through tribal collectives consecrated to responsible conservatorship and progressive cognizance within the ever evolving tradition of Neo-Pagan Druidism.” Also: Statement of the Mother Grove Regarding the LGBTQ Community
Reformed Druids of North America – “The RDNA is the oldest and largest Druid organization native to the United States, but perhaps the least well organized. We began in 1963 as a protest against coerced religious attendance at Carleton College in MN. The RDNA is known for it's lack of dogma, a loose hierarchy, eclectic traditions, a wry sense of humor, well archived numerous publications, and having spawned many well-known spin-off groups.”
